Overview of the College

Sri Venkateswara Institute of Technology (SVIT) is one of the most prestigious institutions run by Sri Venkateswara Lakshmi Narasimha Educational Society. It was established in the year 2009 and since its insertion SVIT is providing quality education in professional courses. The College is affiliated to JNTUA and it is located 15 km from Anantapur and constructed in a huge campus area of 15 acres with a separate hostel facility for both boys and girls which is a home away from home.

SVIT is a ragging-free campus with highly qualified and experienced faculty members in all branches. Currently, the institution offers 7 UG courses (B.Tech: CSE, CSE (Data Science), CSE (AI & ML), ECE, EEE, ME, & CE) and 2 PG courses (M.Tech: VLSI & Embedded Systems & Production Engineering). The college has number of building blocks with smart class rooms, labs equipped with latest equipments. Modern computer centres, huge library with more than 16,000 volumes of books and spacious canteen.

SVIT stands for its disciplined education with academic excellence in Anantapur district. Apart from education, the college provides additional skills to students through CRT programs to build their carriers, promotes NCC, NSS, sports, cultural activities, R&D activities, entrepreneur skills and conducts expert seminars, workshops and departmental fests for exhibition of their talents.
