The visit is important especially in the field of  Computer Science and Engineering as the practice of engineering has an inherent (and unavoidable) impact on society. Being Engineering Colege students,  it is our prime focus on practical and skills. This program can be a powerful tool to constitute a positive industrial climate and can range from basic understanding to development for students.

Overall, this visit aims to train the students to adapt to changing scenarios of technology. After the visit students can identify their efficiency and performance which is important for their career, improving work efficiency and confidence.

 Purpose:

Industrial visits are an integral part of Engineering and acknowledgement of technology upgrades. The purpose of industrial visits for students is to provide technical knowledge with the technological development in the industry and to understand the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge that could be passed in future.

This experience can help students to provide information regarding the functioning of various industries, Automation and associated problems and limitations.

Pre-Incubation Center

Pre-incubation is a phase of the business before entering an incubator program. During this period, entrepreneurs can develop their business ideas, create a business plan, and build a team. In addition, this period is often used to gain access to resources, such as mentors, investors, and other professionals, that can help the business succeed. Usually, entrepreneurs come into such programs to establish an early prototype of their innovation.

Some of the Key activities of SREC SPARK are:

• Incubation, mentoring and funding support of upto Rs 25 lacs as convertible soft loans / equity to startups in the sectors like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, agriculture, healthcare, crafts & livelihoods, education, energy etc from the low income states of India.
• Knowledge sessions, early stage incubation programs and mentoring to

startups & social enterprises from Coimbatore through 7 incubation centres established in the various cities in collaboration with the Department of Technical Education, Government of  Tamilnadu.

• Support institutions and organizations in conducting startup incubation programs through capacity building workshops and knowledge / program support services.
